Hi Listers - I am searching for info regarding STEPHEN PRICE and his family. Stephen married ANFRONIA (Aufronia, Anthona the spelling varies depending on source) ELIZABETH STACY in 1871 White Co AR. They had 5 children: NARSISA PRICE (died in infancy), EDMUND FRANKLIN PRICE b 1878 Logan Co AR; THOMAS JEFFERSON PRICE b 1880 Blue Mountain AR; ALONZO PRICE b 1882 Sebastian Co (?); and MELCINA PRICE b 1884 ? In 1885 Stephen Price was tried and convicted of selling liquor on Indian lands without paying the special tax by Judge Issac Parker's court at Ft Smith AR. He was sentenced to one yrs imprisonment at the Detroit House of Correction Wayne Co MI. Stephen died 3 mos after starting his prison term. of pnuemonia. After Stephen's death his wife Fronie married a cousin of Stephen's by the name of WILLIAM P PRICE. They had 4 children together: BUEL PRICE b 1889 Sebastian Co HANY PRICEb 1891; MARY PRICE b 1892; and MYRTLE PRICE b 1893. Trying to find out who Stephen's parents were; where is Stephen's grave; and whatever happened to Fronie and William. Stephen was my GGGrandfather, his son Alonzo Price my GGrandfather, Alonzo's daughter Bertha Price my maternal grandmother. Does anyone recognize these people?? Thanks. Diane
