    3. The following obits appeared in the SW Times on Saturday: LEONARD MONKS PANAMA - Leonard Haskell "Bill" Monks, 85, of Panama died Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, in a Spiro nursing home. He was a retired coal miner and rancher. He was a veteran of World War II and attended Panama Assembly of God.Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Evans and Miller Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Poteau with burial at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron. He is survived by his wife, Eveline E. (Ward) Monks; one daughter, Donna Sue Hunt of Hartshorne, Okla.; two sons, Leonard T. Monks of Panama and Larry Wayne Monks of Tulsa; two sisters, Louise Rhode and Mary Fritz, both of Florida; one brother, Leon of Shady Point; three grandsons, David of Duncan, Okla., Bradley of McAlester, Okla., and Kendall of Panama; and four great-grandsons. ALVIN REVERE BIG FORK - Alvin Revere, 91, of Big Fork died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, in his home. He was a farmer, a Baptist and the widower of Myrtle Sharp Revere.Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Sharp Chapel Cemetery in Bush, La. Local arrangements under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena. He is survived by two sons, Fenwick of Mena and Eugene of Bush; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Schoen Funeral Home in Covington, La.Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor's choice. TINA WEAVER Tina Wells Weaver of Fort Smith died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, in Rudy. She was an employee of Dillard's Department Store, a graduate of Alma High School and a native of Dyer.Memorial service will be 2 p.m. today at Ocker Funeral Home Chapel in Alma. Cremation is under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Salley of Oklahoma City; her mother, Vera Belt of Dyer; one sister, Paula Basham of Rudy; one stepsister, Barbara Wilson of Texarkana, Texas; three grandchildren, Naomi and Robert Garza and Joseph Salley, all of Oklahoma City; and two great-grandchildren. JUDY SCHOUWEILER SCRANTON - Judy Kaye Schouweiler, 52, of Scranton died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000, in Little Rock. She was an employee of Wal-Mart Distribution in sanitation in Clarksville. She was Baptist.Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Crestview Baptist Church in Midway with burial at Prairie View Cemetery in Prairie View under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris. She is survived by her husband, Charles; two daughters, Angela Draper of Midway and Karen Tucker of Knoxville, Ark.; two sons, Darrell of Branch and Kevin of Clarksville; her parents, John and Verena Beck of Paris; one brother, Albert Beck of Lavaca; and 13 grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Avery Parsons, Glen Heft, John Stansberry, Russell Schabell, Jimmy Patterson and Boyd Blackard. MARY DUFFLE PANAMA - Mary Spille Duffle, 76, of Panama died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a retired nurse, a veteran of the Navy Air Corps, a member of VFW Auxiliary in Panama, where she served as secretary treasurer, a member of American Legion Post No. 288 in Panama and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was the widow of Carl Duffle.Rosary will be 7 p.m. Sunday at Evans and Miller Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Poteau. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Mountain View Cemetery in Hackett. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Bala; two sons, Thomas Gallagher and Maj.
