    3. The following obits appeared in the SW Times today: WILLIAM HAAG MENA - William Volk "Bill" Haag, 75, of Mena died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, in his home. He was a superintendent for List and Clark Construction Company for 37 years, an Army sergeant serving in World War II and Korea and attended Union Mission Pentecostal Church in Mena.Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Beasley-Wood Funeral Home Chapel in Mena with burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; three daughers, Judith Mullen of Athens and Pamela Morris and Denage Fox, both of Mena; one son, Shawn Oglesby of Sonoma, Calif.; two sisters, Joann O'Malley of Garnett, Kan. and Mary Haag of San Jose, Calif.; one brother, Pete of Winfield, Kan.; two grandchildren, Rita Davis of Athens and Matthew Morris of Maryland; and four great-grandchildren. CHARLES SMITH JR. Charles B. Smith Jr., 69, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, in Fayetteville. He was a retired Air Force Technical Sergeant, retired VA benefits counselor at Fort Chaffee, veteran of the Korean Conflict, member of Central Baptist Church, life member of the VFW, member of the Hartford Masonic Lodge #609 Free and Accepted Masons, Belle Point Masonic Lodge #20 Free and Accepted Masons, 32nd degree member of Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, 25-year member of the Grand Commandery of Knights of Templar, 25-year member of the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Arkansas, member of Van Buren Chapter #3 of the Royal Arch masons, member of Osiris Council No. 5 R.&S.M. in Van Buren and member of the D.A.V.Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smithwith burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors. He is survived by his wife, Yolande; two daughters, Vivian Mathews of Fort Smith and Betty Watson of Greenwood; three sons, William of Camden Point, Mo., James of Greenwood and John of Panama City Beach, Fla.; one brother, W.B. (Bill) Meadows, 78, of Sallisaw died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, in Fort Smith. He was a retired carpenter and a Baptist.Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw with burial at Sallisaw City Cemetery. He is survived by three daughters, Ella Edwards of Sallisaw, Goldie Hollis of Greenwood and Dorothy Heinen of Mobile; six sons, Rusty Kilgore of Arizona, Pat Kilgore, Max Smith and John Russell and Gene Meadows, all of Sallisaw and Billy Russell of McAlester, Okla.; three sisters, Jessie Walls of Tulsa, Okla., Eva Campbell of Amarillo, Texas and Eunice House of Sallisaw; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. GENE BREDRICK Gene Bredrick, 80, of Van Buren died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, in a local nursing home. He was a retired bus mechanic supervisor for the Van Buren school system and attended Karis Restoration Center in Van Buren.Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren. He is survived by a companion, Nina McDowell of Fort Smith; one daughter, Kay Geisbauer of Fort Smith; three sisters, Katherine Parker of Irving, Texas, Faye Ramey of Cedarville and Carolyn Davis of Dallas; two brothers, Raymond of Van Buren and Doyle of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, John Broaddrick of Van Buren, Jack Broaddrick of Jacksonville, Fla. and Joseph Geisbauer of Fort Smith; and two great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Fairon and Carl McDowell, Steve McAllister, John Broaddrick, Leroy Adams and Bill Bredrick. DORIS BARBER Doris Marie Barber, 79, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, in Fort Smith. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church where she was a Deaconess, member of the Woman's Missionary Society and former church clerk and member of Friendship Chapter No. 30, Order of Eastern Star.Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Missionary Baptist Church with burial at the Fort Smith National Cemtery under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith. She is survived by two sons, Maj. Hosea Conley of Fort Smith and Steven Andrew Conley of Tampa, Fla.; and ten grandchildren, Anthony, Kenneth, Tinika, Kenan, Steven Jr., Javan, Sean, Thamar, Stephan and Emanuel; and seven great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be the Deacons of First Baptist Church.Honorary pallbearers will be the Deaconesses of the church.. ROSE SWAIN HARTMAN - Rose Swain, 105, of Hartman died Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, in Lamar. She was a homemaker, of the Baptist faith and the widow of Leslie Swain.Memorial service will be 2 p.m. today at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Old Walpole Cemetery in Walpole, N.H. under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville. She is survived by four daughters, Hazel King of Clarksville, Marion Critchfield of Hartman, Rose Hurd of Chipley, Fla. and Dorothy Hicks of Charlestown, N.H.; three sons, Clarence Swain of Walpole, N.H., Robert Kenney of Vernon, Vt., and John Swain of Spring Hill, Fla.; 31 grandchildren, eight stepgrandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren, 14 stepgreat-grandchildren and 40 great-great-grandchildren. LARRY KIMBRIEL OARK - Larry Joe Kimbriel, 52, of Oark died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, in Johnson Regional Medical Center.
