Vernice Ledbetter Sr. HUNT - Vernice D. Ledbetter Sr., 66, of Hunt died Monday, April 2, 2001, in Clarksville. He was born July 13, 1934, in West Plains, Mo. He was a retired poultry farmer and attended Liberty Hill Community Church. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in Liberty Hill Community Hill Church with burial at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Hunt under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home of Clarksville. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; a daughter, Roye Faye Palmer of Hunt; two sons, V. Duwane Ledbetter Jr. and James Allen Ledbetter II, both of Hunt; three sisters, Ona Bushman of Colorado, Lois Roman of West Plains, Mo. and Shirley Bolan of Sapulpa, Okla.; two brothers, Floyd Ledbetter of West Plains, Mo., and David Ledbetter of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and seven grandchildren. The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
