He was a retired Air Force master sergeant, a veteran of World War II and the Koran War and a 32-degree Mason Scottish Rite Order of the Easter Star. Graveside service with military honors will be 1 p.m. Monday at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, two daughters, Eloise Williams of Pocola and Earlene Shaddy of Van Buren; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
