ELIZABETH WALKER Elizabeth Bettye Walker, 89, Fort Smith, died Sunday, April 29, 2001, in a local hospital. She was a retired office manager for Miller Jewelry Store, a member of Goddard United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women member and past Worthy Grand Matron Order of Eastern Star. She was the widow of Willie G. Bill Walker. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Goddard United Methodist Church in Fort Smith with burial at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. She is survived by a sister, Kathryn E. Been, Pocola; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be the Mens Bible Class of Goddard United Methodist Church.
