    2. Wanda Jean GOINS, 59, of Panama, died Thursday, July 19, 2001, in Fort Smith. She was born June 22, 1942, in Cameron. She worked at Panama School Cafeteria for 12 years and as home health provider for 12-1/2 to 13 years. Survivors include her husband Howard of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Pan and Randy Shelton of Monroe; a son and his companion, Clayton Goins and Rose Baker of Beggs; five granddaughters, Randa and Annie Brooke Shelton, Kaylin, Darcy and Jordan Goins; one sister, Nema Lee Baker of Carnegie; one brother, Leonard Wilson of Poteau; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 23 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with the Reverend Jack Covey officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Panama. Harold Dan LAZALERE, 73, of Talihina, died Thursday, July 19, 2001, in Tulsa. He was born April 5, 1928, to Hereld and Doris (Wiggins) LaZalere in Tulsa. He served four years with the United States Navy and was discharged in 1947. On May 12, 1973, he married Mary (Baysinger) LaZalere in Las Vegas and they made their home in Talihina for the past four years. Dan retired from McDonald-Douglas in 1983 after working 17 years in the aircraft industry. He raised cattle and enjoyed fishing and just being outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother. Survivors include his wife Mary of the home; two sons, Dan and Greg LaZalere, both of Utah; two stepsons, Rily Hughlett and wife Rachel of Poteau and Kenneth Hughlett of California; four daughters, Sherry Rochat and husband of Derald of California, Pamela Kline, Michelle LaZalere and Robin Ritch and husband Steve, all of Utah; one stepdaughter, Cynthia Dean and husband Jeff of Howe; several nephews, nieces and a special niece, Shelley; 12 grandchildren and one grandson, Danny, raised as a son; five great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 21 at the Shipman Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner with Don Chatwell officiating. Burial will follow at the Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner. Lena Mae GREENWOOD, 85, of Pocola, died Thursday, July 19, 2001. She was a member of the Christian Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She retired from Sparks Regional Medical Center. Survivors include three daughters, Geneva Almond of Crown Point, N.M., Thelma Kelley of Edmond, and Betty Freeman of Pocola; three sons, Earl Greenwood of Fort Smith, Arnold Greenwood of Fairfield, Calif. and Carl Greenwood of Cecil, Ark.; 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 23 at the Christian Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Pocola. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
