Sister Anacletus SCHROEDER, 83, of Fort Smith died Saturday, July 21, 2001, in Fort Smith. She was a member of St. Scholastica Monastery and her profession date was June 24, 1936. She was a professional nurse for 52 years, and worked in Clarksville, Dermott, Morrilton, Van Buren and Boonville, Mo. She has four nieces who are members of St. Scholastica Monastery. Pallbearers will be nieces and nephews. Modean Helen ASHLEY, 76, of Mena died Friday, July 20, 2001, in San Antonio. She was born March 27, 1925, in Oklahoma. She worked for Tyson and was a Baptist. He was born March 7, 1918, in Mondamin, Iowa. He was a farmer and was a Baptist. DICKS, 83, of Paris died Monday, July 23, 2001, in a local nursing home. He was a retired rancher and dairy farmer, and a member of Webb City Baptist Church. Grace Dell NICHOLS, 89, of Atlus died Sunday, July 22, 2001, in a local nursing home. She was born Aug. 23, 1911, in Denning. She was a homemaker and the widow of Bill Nichols. Alfred Archie CULLIPHER, 97, of Sallisaw died Monday, July 23, 2001, in Sallisaw. He was a member of Akins Assembly of God in Akins and the widower of Marie Cullipher. Minnell Cravens BREWSTER, 96, of Booneville died Saturday, July 21, 2001, in a Booneville nursing home. She was a mother and grandmother, a retired food manager, and a member of First United Methodist Church in Booneville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Powell Brewster. Clesten SERATT, 85, of Chester died Saturday, July 21, 2001, in Van Buren. He was a beloved dad, grandpa, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed. He was retired from the U.S. Forest Service. Born March 31, 1916, to William and Elizabeth Seratt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Dean in 1988, and a daughter, Christine Mertin in 1993. She was born June 16, 1923, in Fort Smith, the daughter of the late Joseph and Elva Hammer. Irene was a life-long member of Saint Boniface Catholic Church, a homemaker and retired bookkeeper for Business Interiors, Galloway Oil and Tire, Ralph Downs, M.D., Arnold Beauty Supply and Hammer Machine Works. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert L. Corrotto; daughter and son-in-law, Jane Ann and DuVal "Butch" Johnston of Fort Smith, daughter, Susan Corrotto-Lieux of Fort Smith; son, Robert Corrotto Jr. of Fayetteville; two granddaughters, Candace Beasley and Krista Lieux, both of Fort Smith; one grandson, Benjamin Johnston of Dallas; one great-grandson, Greyson N.
