Charlie, the following is the obituary you requested: Marie Phillips POTEAU - Marie Phillips, 94, of Poteau died Wednesday, May 30, 2001, in Poteau. She was born Feb. 22, 1907, in Florence, Ala. She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church of Poteau. She was the widow of Hansel Phillips Sr. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Southside Baptist Church in Poteau with burial at Vaughn Cemetery in Gilmore under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau. She is survived by three sons, Bobby Gene Phillips of Clarksburg, Va., Charles Phillips of Howe and “Chick” Hansel Phillips Jr. of Anchorage, Alaska; a sister, Frances Brown of Irving, Texas; a brother, Raymond Hale of Florida; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. A meal will be served at noon Saturday at the Southside Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
