Winifred Louise "Bunch" Tankersley, 73, of Pocola, died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker and attended Pocola Christian Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Billie Wayne Tankersley Jr. Survivors include her husband Billie Wayne Tankersley of the home; one daughter, Judith Peters; one son, Michael Tankersley, both of Pocola; one sister, Thelma Zielinski of Detroit, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 11 at Steep Hill Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, Ark. Viewing will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 10 at the funeral home (state room).
