Charlie, this is the complete obit for Ward: Norman Ward DARDANELLE - Norman E. Ward, 91, of Dardanelle died Friday, June 8, 2001, in Russellville. He was retired owner-operator of Wards Service Station in Dardanelle for 26 years. He was a member of Church of Christ and the widower of Nelle Ward. Funeral was held Sunday in Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Dardanelle with burial at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle. He is survived by a daughter, Patsy George of Dardanelle; a son, Dr. James Ward of Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Alma Staten in New Blaine; five grandchildren, Mark and Jamie George and Suzanne Hull, all of Dardanelle, Brad Ward of Nashville, Tenn., and David Ward of Franklin, Tenn.; three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Eddie Taylor, Brad, David, Charles and Opay Ray Ward and John Freeman.
