Nora Gentry VIAN - Nora Jane Gentry, 101, of Vian died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2001, in Vian. She was a homemaker, a school teacher for a brief time and a member of Vian Freewill Baptist Church. She was the widow of Miles E. "Chock" Gentry. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday in Vian Freewill Baptist Church with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She is survived by a daughter, Fern Baer of Sacramento, Calif.; a son, Vinson E. "Hoss" Gentry of Tahlequah, Okla.; five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons, great-grandsons and two great-great-grandchildren. The body may be viewed from 1 to 9 p.m. today.
