He was retired from Rainbow Bakery, and a member of West-Ark Church of Christ. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in West-Ark Church of Christ with burial at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. He is survived by his wife, Judy; a son, Gary Halford of Rogers; a sister, Lillie Mae Ray of Booneville; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Adam Halford, both of Rogers. Pallbearers will be Joel Lewi, Carl Nichols, Tom Porter, Benny Brown, Ben Pearson and Lyndon Blackman. Honorary pallbearers will be elders from West-Ark Church of Christ. Michael Dean "Stinker" Odom, 30, of Van Buren was born Sept. 27, 1970, and departed this life Sept. 25, 2001. He was a former construction worker and attended the Old Time Country Church in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Eugene Odom, Sr., and a son, Justin Odom. Funeral was held Monday in Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Mount McCurry Cemetery near Rudy. He is survived by a son, Michael Odom Jr. of Miami, Okla.; his mother, Sally Odom of Baytown, Texas; four sisters, Amega Michelle Odom of Sallisaw, Angela Jean Odom of Dayton, Texas, Christina Jean Townsend and Danielle Jean Odom, both of Houston; two brothers, Daniel Eugene Odom Jr. of Fort Smith, and Joshua Dean Odom of Baytown, Texas; grandparents, maternal grandmother, Versie Johnston of Sallisaw, paternal grandparents, Clifford and Nannie Odom of Van Buren.
