Elsie Sparks CLARKSVILLE - Elsie Ford Sparks, 92, of Clarksville died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, in an area nursing home. She was born Oct. 24, 1909, in Oktaha, Okla. She was a member of Hays Methodist Church and the widow of Dice Sparks. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday in Hays Chapel Methodist Church with burial at Hays Chapel Cemetery in Hardwicke Funeral Home of Clarksville. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Sherman and Sharon Sparks of Benton; three sisters, Norida Brooks of Washington, Edith Ford of Clarksville and Effie Johnson of California; a brother, Kenneth Ford of Washington; two grandchildren, one step-grandson and three step-great-grandchildren.
