    2. DWIGHT LONDAGIN, 79, of Tonkawa, Okla. died Monday, March 12, 2001. He was born Dec. 6, 1921, in Thomas, Okla. He was a Army veteran of World War II and served in the Normandy Invasion. He was retired from Beech Aircraft Company in Wichita, Kan. and attended the Methodist Church in Tonkawa. He was the widower of Lois McAlister Londagin. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in Trout Funeral Home Chapel in Ponca City, Okla. with burial at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Alta; three daughters, Lela Spangler of Southard, Okla., Babby Randol of Tulsa and Diana Morain of Ponca City, Okla.; three sons, Michael D. Londagin of Sedgwick, Kan., Ed Londagin of Oklahoma City and Randy Londagin of Alma; one sister, Thelma Havice of Augusta, Kan.; two brothers, Dwane Londagin of Ponca City, Okla. and Delbert Londagin of Haskell, Okla.; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; and Dovey Hewitt, mother of his children. He was born Feb. 18, 1911, in Alix. He was a retired metallurgist in a steel plant, a former coal miner and a member of United Auto Workers. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday in Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark. The body will be cremated. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield with burial at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith. She is survived by one daughter, Melba Stugart of Hemet, Calif.; one son, Jack Hanna of Newberry Springs, Calif.; one brother, Lester Stinebaugh of Dayton; two grandchildren, Billy Stugart and Jennifer Casseli; and four great-grandchildren. BETTY JEAN DEAN BLACK, 72, of Clarksville died Tuesday, March 13, 2001, in Fort Smith. She was a retired office manager and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was the widow of George W. Dean and James Black. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville. She is survived by one daughter, Virginia Spiotto of Clarksville; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. TERRY GRUBBS, 54, of Daytona Beach, Fla., formerly of McAlester, Okla. died Sunday, March 11, 2001, in his home. He was born July 23, 1946, in McAlester, Okla. He was a 1964 graduate of McAlester High School and from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, earning a bachelor’s degree in math and a master’s degree in computer science from Denver University. He was a fighter pilot in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, flew for Braniff Airlines,was a system analyst in the flight simulation field and was a captain with Qantas Airlines in Melbourne, Australia. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in Bishop Funeral Service Chapel of Memories in McAlester, Okla. with burial at Chambers Cemetery in Chambers community. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; one daughter, Erin Grubbs of Deland, Fla.; his father and stepmother, Burl and Gwen Grubbs of Stigler; his stepgrandmother, Anna Lee Standridge of McAlester, Okla.; two sisters, Mary Beth Hammock of Inola, Okla. and Patsy Nichols of Allen, Texas; three brothers, Tim Grubbs of Hooksett, N.H., Rick Grubbs of Broken Arrow, Okla. and Roger Grubbs of Fort Smith. Pallbearers will be Sam, Ben, and Tom Doyal, Rick, Roger and Tim Grubbs. LEOLA KNOX, 92, of McKenzie, Tenn., formerly of Fort Smith, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001, in McKenzie, Tenn. She was a homemaker and worked for Boston Laundry. She was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church, the Jolly Travelers, the WMU and was a Sunday school teacher. She was the widow of Vesta C. Knox. Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. She is survived by one daughter, Virginia Knox of Fort Smith; one son, Ron Knox of McKenzie, Tenn.; two sisters-in-law, Frances Carson of Charleston and Zelda Carson of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Craig and Vera Knox of Burlington, Ky. and Brent Knox of Jackson, Tenn.; and three great-grandchildren. OLENE "PETE" GATTIS, 83, of Fort Smith died Monday, March 12, 2001, in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker, a member and officer for the Ladies Red Crown Bowling League and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Allen Gattis. KATE I BRADLEY, 84, of Charleston died Wednesday, March 14, 2001, in an area hospital. She was a homemaker, retired from Booneville School system and a member of Victory Baptist Church in Booneville. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in Smith Mortuary Chapel in Charleston with burial at Oakhill Cemetery in Booneville. He was the former owner of Parsons Construction in Tulsa and a member of Victory Temple in Fort Smith and the international director of the Full Gospel Business Men, and leader of the Fort Smith Chapter for 12 years. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in Victory Temple in Fort Smith with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. He is survived by his wife, Glenda; one daughter, Karen Fifer of Tulsa; one son, Ron Parsons of Fort Smith; five grandchildren, Derrick and Ryan Beard, Lindsey, Tyler and T.R. Parsons; and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Danny and David Freeman, Don Harris, Jim Cole, Mark and Herman Douglas. RANDALL GENE GIPSON, 45, of Poteau died Tuesday, March 13, 2001, in Poteau. He was born June 28, 1955, in Tulsa. He was a member of the Steel Guitar Association and Musicians Union and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Poteau. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church in Poteau with a graveside service 1 p.m. Monday at Rankin Cemetery in Rankin, Texas under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau. He is survived by his wife, Vicki; two daughters, Tori Turley of Mary Esther, Fla. and Trista Gipson of the home; one sister, Susan Jones of Jenks, Okla.; two brothers, Rusty Gipson of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Dennis Gipson of Winterhaven, Fla; his father, Reed Gipson of Odessa, Texas.
