My gggrandfather, Andrew Jackson Hill b 1822 TN, put his post office address on his final proof 1887 Sebastian Co land grant papers as Peoria, AR. Can anyone please tell me the exact location of Peoria? Or, perhaps you have heard of this community. It must have been a small post office site once, but I have been unable to locate it. Two people gave testimony of witness for him and gave Peoria as their post office address, also. They were Richard Hilrey Statham, age 53 and Peter Skidmore Baker, age 39 and both lived nearby him.
