Am told there is a Blackfork Cemetery in Sebastian Co. Believe my ggggrandfather is buried there, John Stinnett. Does anyone have any information regarding this cemetery. Cannot locate with GNIS or anything I have tried so far. Thanks for any help Sandi in Oregon

Sandi, have you looked for it in the www.rootsweb.com then go to the tombstone projects on the right of the web page, click on "tombstone projects" and sometimes the cemetery you are looking for has already been surveyed. If not, call or write the Public Library in Ft. Smith....Address...Ft. Smith Public Library, Rogers & Free Ferry Avenue, Ft. Smith, Ar. 72901. Telephone # 782-0740 (area Code 501)...they could have a complete listing there, more than likely they will have. The genealogy department does lookups there.
