Here it is: Nellie Hankins DYER - Nellie Hankins, 96, of Dyer died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Dyer Cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Thelma Hill of Fillmore, Calif., and Maudie Davis of Dyer; one son, Matthew Hankins of Alma; one brother, Troy Flanagan of Van Buren; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and step great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bill Morse, Wayne Leakey, Jim Julian, Kenneth Hatley, Jerry Chance and Joe Beckham. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
