Judith "Judy" Peters, age 61, died on 19 June 2007, at a Fort Smith hospital. Judy was an avid genealogist, a cousin, and a good friend. She will be deeply missed. She was a homemaker, a member of Arkoma Assembly of God Church, the Red Hatter's and Rose's Quilting Club. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Arkoma Assembly of God Church, Arkoma, Oklahoma. The body will de cremated under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, Arkansas. Judy is survived by her husband, Harold; three sons, Randy, of Poteau, Oklahoma, Jerry Peters and Zach Peters, of Pocola, Oklahoma: seventeen grandchildren. Judy is also survived by her father, Wayne Tankersley, and her brother, Michael Tankersley both of Pocola, Oklahoma.
