    3. Gary, I could not find your email address in my list of emails received, so I will have to take this way of saying a big, big thank you for the Census images you sent and all the extra effort you did to find the Sellers in Arkansas and Texas. There were several of you that responsed and I really appreciate it. Certainly a bunch of nice people on this site. I was trying to link the James H. Sellers and Robert Sellers on the 1860 Sebastian County, Sugarloaf Township to the following James H. Sellers: 1880 CENSUS - FREESTONE, TX James H. Sellers, born 1829 in Alabama, age 51. Farmer. White. Father's place of birth: NC, Mother's place of birth:TN Disey S. Sellers, wife. Age 35. White. Born in TN. Keeping house. Father's place of birth unknown. Mother's place of birth unknown. Children: George Sellers, son, age 22. Born in Alabama. Mother's place of birth: Alabama (Note: the above Dicey S. Sellers must be George's step-mother) Robert Sellers, son, age 6. Born in Texas. Mother's place of birth: TN. Jinny Sellers, age 4, born in Texas. Mother's place of birth: TN I was pretty sure they were one and the same, but the period between 1860 and 1880 is 20 years, not ten, so James H. Sellers would have been age 61, not 51. Also, since George is listed as age 22 on the 1880 Freestone County, TX Census, he should have shown up in the household of the James H. Sellers on the 1860 Sebastian county, Sugarloaf Township. Unless, his full name was George Alfred Sellers and he is the 2 year old Alfred on the 1860 census. The problem with that is Alfred is listed as being born in AR, and George is listed as being born in AL, with his mother being born in AL, rather than NC. Like you, I have been unable to find any track of either James H. or Robert Sellers on the 1870 Census for either AR or TX. Sure wish I could. Thanks again for your help, and for the John and Sophronia Sellers you found in Texas. Jo Ann
