    3. Does anyone have any Confederate Reunion photos from newspapers or families or something? I'd like to have a photo of my great-great grandfather George W. Cox (b. 1843 AL, d. 1916 Fort Smith AR). The Cox men look so much alike, from George's father down to the youngest generation, I figure I might just recognize him, even if there weren't any names on the photos, but a name would be great! (Yeah, I'm kinda grasping at straws here). In George W. Cox's obituary from the Southwestern American on 25 July 1916, it's mentioned that the Confederate veterans will attend his funeral in a body, so I presume he was well-known from gatherings, including reunions. He was in an AL regiment during the war, and is buried in the Confederates Rest section of Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith. Have a good day!
