    3. I have just finished talking to ANCESTRY.COM. I am so finished talking with the billing department of Ancestry.com. They put a charge of $39.95 on my credit card WITHOUT MY PERMISSION...and then told me I couldn't get a refund. I COULD CANCEL, but NO refund. I asked five times to talk to the lady's supervisor, and only after I became irate, she handed me over to her supervisor. She told me she would cancel the subscription and give me a refund also. I will wait and see. I had on one of the lines this had happened to them also...I couldn't believe Ancestry.com would do this. But they did and tried not to credit me back on the credit card. This genealogy site had a good reputation, now it's not so hot with me. I hope everyone else that is a subscriber never has this problem, but I am afraid that's how they do. Since this is a PAID Genealogy site, it really upsetting to think they were so arrogant with me. Hope no one resents me posting this, but Rootsweb, as a free site, has my vote and my money of support. 3. I am researching the Elijah McDONALD family that moved to Fort Smith, AR abt. 1871 from Montgomery Co.AL. His wife, Martha BANKSTON BROOKS, died prior to the move or enroute. He arrived in Fort Smith with three children: Rebecca Jane McDonald (13), Caleb Sappington McDonald, and Laura McDonald. The family stayed with Will JOHNSTON and his sister, Martha Elizabeth JOHNSTON. Rebecca Jane McDONALD married Mr. William JOHNSTON and had four children: Doshia, Jimmy, Tillman and William. She was widowed in 1880. In 1886, Greenwood, Sebastian County, Rebecca McDONALD JOHNSTON married William Anderson MILLER in Greenwood, Sebastian County,AR Rebecca (or Becky) and Wm MILLER had two children: Fannie Retha MILLER m. James Looney Coy Clifton MILLER b. 1892, Greenwood, SEBASTIAN CO., AR Wm Miller died abt. 1913... Rebecca re-married to Sam House. Rebecca died in 1937, Sebastian County. QUESTIONS: I am in need of a marriage certificate for Rebecca and Wm Miller in 1886. I also need a copy of Coy Clifton Miller's birth certificate in 1892 Also needed is a copy of Rebecca's death certificate in 1937. I was told that I needed to write to the county for these certificates. Sebastian County confused me. If the location is Greenwood, Sebastian County... could someone please tell me the address... or tell me if I need to write elsewhere. I am also curious about the history of Sebastian County from 1871 - 1937. Is there a site online that has historical data? Thank you so very much, Kind regards, Cynthia Forde
