Imogene Clark JENNY LIND - Imogene Clark, 72, of Jenny Lind died Wednesday, March 7, 2001, in a Greenwood nursing home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Greenwood Senior Citizens and the Assembly of God. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday in McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Old Jenny Lind Cemetery. She is survived by three sisters, Lela Whittingslow and Lila Robison, both of Jenny Lind, and Mildred King of Ash Grove, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Raymond Clark, Tony Cline, Robert and Billy Joe Clark, Nathan and Michael Robison. The body may be viewed from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. GRADY BREWER, 79, of Bokoshe, died Friday, March 9, 2001 in Fort Smith. He was born Feb. 26, 1922 in Bokoshe. He was a bartender. He lived in the Santa Maria, Calif. area for 30 years, was a lifetime resident of the Bokoshe area, a member of the Masonic Lodge; the Eagles Lodge and a member of the First Baptist Church of Boskoshe. Survivors include one daughter, Gloria Gentry of Bokoshe; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Jeanie Davies of Panama; one sister, Zola Culwell of Bokoshe; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Barbara Brewer of Hathaway Pines, Calif.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews; his close friend Kathy Starkey; other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, in the Bokoshe High School Gym with the Rev. Leroy Orr officiating. I recently obtained a marriage license for my g-grandparents J.L. Morris age 27and Emma Jane Hammock age 17 were married in Sebastian County on 20 Oct 1888 By J.W. Riggs J.P. Parents are not listed but place of residence listed for both is Sebatian County. Does anyone have access to a census of an earlier year which might disclose the parents of (Julius) J.L. Joe Martin CLARKSVILLE - Joe Lee Martin, 76, of Clarksville died Thursday, March 1, 2001, in his home. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and attended Clarksville Schools. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday in Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville with burial at Lone Pine Cemetery in Clarksville. He is survived by his wife, Mildred; one son, Alan of Clarksville; one sister, Pauline Turner of Sacramento, Calif.; two grandchildren, Timothy and Matthew Martin, both of Clarksville; two nieces and one nephew. The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
