An idea.  Sharon Hi Jerry, It seems like many people are having their mailing lists hijacked these days -- I've had a number of emails from friend's email accounts that they say they've never sent. By the way, I have a number of photos from what I believe to be the Hartford, AR / Howe-Monroe-Heavener, OK areas, and I cannot identify the locations, nor the people in the photos.  I know they have to be friends or members of our family.  I may have even sent some to you before and struck out. 3. So sad to hear that they are having to quit because of their health & hopefully, everything will be fine soon for Trevia and family. I too, am dealing with a health issue for my husband so cannot volunteer at this time but hopefully can by beginning of next year or 2012. I would dearly love to help out in Leflore County, especially Poteau area since I'm more familiar with it, but can run around the county some because I like exploring the old smaller cemeteries that aren't all documented. Check back with me 1st of the year IF you need someone for this county in Oklahoma. 3. The information that I have came from a book in the Ft. Smith Library. The title was "Ancesters Inside The Gates, Fort Chaffee, Sebastian County, Arkansas". The aurthor was Wanda Carson McGehee. My relatives were the Dunn Family. My Great Great Grandmother's sister (Amanda Yates) married into the Dunn Family and I was searching through this side line as my Great Great Grandmother (Malinda Yates Fraley) died at an early age. Amanda Yates Dunn is buried in Lone Star (there is a built-up rock wall enclosing 4 graves but none are marked. Martha Rebecca Posey married into the Dunn Family and she and 5 children are buried there. Paul Dunn married a Mima McCartney and there are some McCartneys's buried there also but I don't know if they are the same family I also search the Chastain Family and there are several throughout the other cemeteries but have not made a connection to them as yet. ----- Original Message ----- From: geneobugkk902 geneobugkk902 To: [email protected];[email protected] Sent: 8/5/2011 11:04:00 AM Subject: Re: [ARSEBAST] Fort Chaffee Cemeteries My ancestors are buried at Lone Star & Pleasant Ridge. 2. This cemetery's name is Saint Marys Cemetery. You can go to FindAGrave home page and search for it. I checked and your Norton's are not listed, but you can add their names and request a photo if there are markers. Sadly many are in unmarked graves. Lindy
