    1. Re: [ARSEARCY] Mary Jane Price
    2. James Johnson pulled the information on the poll tax payees and published his book AFTER the Retired Teachers put out the book on Searcy County families. Someone will need to contact him as the information he came up with was not available when the Searcy County Family Book was done and the Yarbrough families from St. Joe have since concluded that the W. F. Yarbrough listed on James Johnson's Tax Lists for 1848 was the most likely candidate to be Robert Lee Yarbrough's father. I dont understand why this is not in someone's family Bible as it would sure help clear this up. Jimmie Yarbrough found a Robert Yarbrough listed in N. Carolina or Tennessee on the 1810/20 census with three sons that were not there on the 1840 census when three Yarbrough brothers/cousins showed up in Searcy County so Jimmie Yarbrough, etc. concluded that the three sons had left home and gone to Searcy County together for some unknown reason and then on to Milam County Texas in the 1840's. She has other info to support this.
