Searcy County History indicates that after Robert Lee Yarbrough died about 1849, that Mary Jane, shown in the 1850 Texas, Milan Census living next to Absalom Yarbrough with no husband, married Charles W. Stone b. ca 1818 TN. In 1852 she started back to Arkansas with her two Yarbrough children Robert and Christina "Catherine" and she was expecting another child. Assume that was a child of Mr. Stone, but see no records of the child, did it survive? The history notes that Robert was raised by his grandfather William "Buck" Price. What happened to the Yarbrough girl, shown as Christiana "Catherine"? Don

    3. Well a lot of my question was answered when I stumbled on to Thomas Thompson family in the 1860 Searcy, Tomahawk Census. Mary Jane 34 is married to Thomas Thompson 34 and Robert Lee 13,and Christian 11, are listed as Thompsons. Also in the census is Charles Stone 8.
