Her name was Rosalie Woodard, d/o William J. Woodard and Laura Burse/Burris. She was born 1892 in Snowball, Ark. William and Laura married 3rd Dec 1891 and William left her shortly after and Laura died when Rosalie was about 2 years old. I don't have any info before this time from either side of her parents family but there was one side that married an Indian and never found out what tribe. I have William and Laura marriage certificate filed under By 153, Bk D, PG 135 if that would be any help. It says William was 40 and Laura was 17 years old in 3 Dec 1891. It is also called Bond for Marriage License and the cost was $100.00. That sounds very costly for that period of time, can you explain? I found that Laura didn't sign but a D.S. Lipton (as surety) signed for her. Would this be a stepfather or Guardian? Any help in her family history would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Sterling Perrine
