Daniel Webster Hall was b. 28 Sep 1790 in Orwell, Addison, Vermont and died 30 Mar 1869 on Hall Mountain, Marion, Arkansas. He is buried at Hurst/Teagarden Cemetery in Marion County Arkansas. On 23 Feb/Aug 1818 in Monroe County Indiana he married Hannah W. Treat b. 8 Aug 1799 Fallowsfield, Crawford, Pennsylvania and died 4 Jan 1875 on Hall Mountain, Marion Co. AR. and is also buried at Hurst/Teagarden Cemetery in Marion County Arkansas. (Some say her birth date is 18 Mar 1799, some say 18 Apr 1799). (Some question the marriage date and say it was much closer to the date their first child was born.) Peace negotiations had begun in early August 1814, the only Battle left in the New York area was the Battle at Plattsburg which was a Naval Battle on Lake Champlaign. It started at 9AM and the British surrendered at 10AM, the land battle was called off. I have not been able to confirm that Daniel Hall was among the ground forces. According to his application for Bounty Land Daniel Hall was captured by the British and taken to Ontario Canada as a prisoner and kept for two years. 1818, 23 Feb/Aug 1818 married Hannah Treat, Monroe Co.
