Monks Post office WAS around only from 1901 to 1908, when it was closed and the mail sent to Leslie. It was located in sec 10, 14N 15W. We are familiar with this area north of Leslie. Some of the people listed at Monks, AR, are in the Watts family and I could give more on them. We never heard of a Post Office called Monks, AR. I wonder how it got a name like that. Wendell Culberson
