I read with interest the recent postings regarding the ledger of my maternal gr. grandfather, Lewis C. Morrison. And, how Claudia Barnes Massey shared this information with others. Unfortunatley, Claudia now suffers from Alzheimer's. Claudia was born and raised in the Campbell Community in Searcy County, and was a schoolteacher for many years. She is the daughter of William J. Barnes and Nora Sutterfield. Her late husband, Willie Lee Massey, was the son of Benjamin D. Massey and Ada Elizabeth Morrison. Claudia and her late brother, Carl Barnes, were actively involved in genealogy. They were some of the first to HELP me with my family research back in the 1970s. They freely gave their time and information not only to me but many others as well. They were especially knowledgeable about the families and history of those from Campbell Township. Such as: Massey, Morrison, Sutterfield, Barnes, Martin, Mabrey, Branscum, Kuykendall, and many others families. Claudia we miss you and wish you the best. Errol Lewis
