Andrew Jackson Snow born abt 1843 in TN, in 1860 Searcy Co census, Mountain Twp. Not in 1870 census, apparently. Served as private, Co. K, 14th (Powers) Ark Inf (CSA) enlisting 5 August 1861 at Yellville. Deserted 15 August 15, 1862 at Saltillo, MS. Son of Isaac and Elizabeth Ann Ciummings Snow. Height 5 ft 8 in, dark eyes, light hair, a farmer.
