Anglin LaRue buried in Archey Valley Cemetery located in Van Buren County, Arkansas. Dates 1867 - 1915. I have books on cemeteries for several counties, Searcy and Van Buren being two of these. Since Van Buren Co. has only one book and Searcy Co. has 17, I checked Van Buren Co. first. The Little Red River runs along the Van Buren/Searcy County southern border. Archey Valley Cemetery is located in the corner of Van Buren County where Searcy/Pope and Van Buren Counties corner together. It is off Highwy 27 on Co. Road #254. There was one other LaRue buried here: Niva V. Larue 1872 - 1928 Arkansas had only started recording births and deaths in 1914, so you will be very fortunate if you find a death record on Mary. The first records were very few, especially in the very early years. Desmond Walls Allen has done index books with these early death records. I don't have this one, but our local library does have all four of them. I could possibly do a check for you the next time I am in town to see if Mary is listed.
