I've heard that he is the son of Jesse Jackson, that he was born in Sumner Co., TN, and that he was on a list belonging to a Secret Order, not yet arrested. This was the peace society, and probably dates to December 1861. He supposedly was killed about 1863 in Ben (Cuff) Brattons' house by Mark Eoff. Jackson was eating honey from a jar when surprised by Eoff. He was also in Co D, 45th Ark Militia. Sorry I don't have Isabell's maiden name.
