    3. James - would the Eoff be related to the Eoff's in Clinton? Bill Eoff? They are from our Jerusha, WATTS, Potter's line. Jackson 's wife I've heard that he is the son of Jesse Jackson, that he was born in Sumner Co., TN, and that he was on a list belonging to a Secret Order, not yet arrested. This was the peace society, and probably dates to December 1861. He supposedly was killed about 1863 in Ben (Cuff) Brattons' house by Mark Eoff. Jackson was eating honey from a jar when surprised by Eoff. He was also in Co D, 45th Ark Militia. Sorry I don't have Isabell's maiden name. 3. I think probably so, but I don't know how. The Mark Eoff in question here is usually known as John Eoff. He married Sally Bratton, daughter of Paul Bratton, and sister to Millican & Benjamin Bratton, Sr. JJJ Barbara Van Camp wrote: > James - would the Eoff be related to the Eoff's in Clinton? Bill Eoff?
