At the risk of carrying this latest New Year Celebration a bit too far, I thought you all might like to know this evening has been quite a landmark. We've not only ended and begun a year, but also ended and begun a century as well as ended and begun a millennium. All in one click of a clock. At the accepted average of 4 to 5 generations for each century, if we family tree climbers had all been as lucky as we'd have liked during this past year and traced our families to the beginning of the millennium that just ended, we'd have gone back approximately 40 to 50 generations <gulp> A very happy and successful tree-climbing New Year, New Century, and New Millennium to everyone.
