Trying to uncover Indian lines. Searching for the family lines of HENSLEY....CHRISTY....WYATT...JAMESON I have been told of lines in our family poss. tied with Indian descent. After going over family records have narrowed it down to these 4 lines. James C. Jameson and wife Dulcenia Wyatt both from St Joe Searcy Co. Their son was Alexander Sheridan. His wife was Lula Abbie Gail Hensley daughter of Porter M. Hensley and Elizabeth Mae Christy. Wondering if Elizabeth Mae Christy might be Indian due to the hard time of locating anything on her line. Have her father a John Christy but only Elizabeth for her mother. Have been told that family came along the Trail of Tears. Also have Indian blankets that been in the family atleast 4 generations. Mom remembers seeing them on her grandmother Cora Elizabeth Jameson..daughter of Alexander S. Jameson's couch. Other family members with ties to the Jameson line through Cora's marriage to Renfroe have been recieving profits shares from oil wells on Indian lands.
