Dear Cathy, (and the rest of the Searcy County list) I just came across your posting about Irma Bradley in the Searcy County AR list. Just on a chance, I thought I would ask you about this. I do not (yet) know much about my Bradley ancestors and their families, but about 18 months ago I was in Little Rock at the Arkansas History Commision and found the direct male members of my line back into Searcy County. I don't have my notes handy, but this is what I can remember off the top of my head at the moment. (my grandfather:) Joseph Anderson Bradley (b. 1908 in Newton Co. AR, d. 1987, La Jolla, San Diego Co. CA) (his father) William A. Bradley, M.D. (d. abt 1953; practiced in Jasper, Newton Co. AR; sister Avis) (his father) Anderson A. Bradley (b. 1851 in TN) (his parents) W. A. (b. 1828) and Sarah Bradley (sibling Martha) But, I have found Anderson Bradley in the 1860 and 1870 censuses listed in Calf Creek Township, Searcy Co. AR. I believe that the town was Snowball. I also have land patent information for W. A. Bradley in Searcy County. Do any of these match up with your information? I'd love to make some progress on this line again... Joe Bradley
