    3. Got some information that might be of help. Joseph Adams was married twice. First to Elvira Jane Cotton, born 6 Dec 1827 (Cotton Family Bible) died 17 Oct 1886 buried at Canaan Cemetery,Searcy Co.,AR. He then married her sister Mary Minerva Cotton, born 14 Nov 1830 TN, died 20 Apr 1889 buried at Bear Creek Cemetery, Searcy Co., AR. I have that Mary Minerva & Joseph were married 1 April 1888. Mary Minerva Cotton and William Alexander Bohannon, Sr. her first husband are my great great grandparents. The Cotton girls are the daughters of Charles Cotton and Elizabeth "Betsy" Lyons.
