    3. Jill, There is a wonderful old book entitled "History and Folklore of Searcy County, Arkansas" edited by Mary Frances Harrell. (the date of printing is 1977) The book is made up of interviews with residents of Searcy County. It is an oral history and a treasure. In the index I found the following Clemons' listed: Clemons, Joe and Mary Griffin p. 143, 246 Clemons, Lonzo p. 313 Also in the book, on p. 104, is a brief description of the community of Blanco. I don't know if these are any of your people or not. If you want me to copy the articles let me know.
