I'm looking for help with a the Lewis' of Searcy County!!!! I have an interest in a couple of LEWIS men who married into my TREAT family in Searcy County, Arkansas. One was William H. Lewis born around 1841 & died in 1909. W.H. Lewis married my great great Aunt Sarah Curtis Treat..this was a second marriage for both....the other Lewis connection is for my other great great Aunt, Rena Treat, who married John Grant Lewis in 1897. John Grant Lewis was born in Ill. or Iowa around 1868 & died in Lonoke County, Arkansas in 1923. John Grant appears young enough to be W.H. Lewis' son; however, I have not been able to make a firm connection.....John Grant Lewis was know as "JACK" Lewis....can any of you help me connect these two LEWIS men to their fathers and grandfathers????
