Roberta and Ann, Some months ago I was in conversation with my O'Neal cousin , Jenenah (O'Neal) Smith about this very question. She is one of the Horton researchers. I had presented this question about Mary Polly Watts being a sister to our John Watts. She became interested and said she would see if she could get a marriage licens for them. It was my understanding that she was/did send in papers to try to get the marriage licens of Mary Polly Watts Horton and Isaac Horton II. somewhere in Tennessee. If I am not mistaken, I beleive she told me she heard from them saying that they were swamped with request or something and they could not do the search for her. I have not heard any more about it.
