Before her death, Ruby Lacy published around 20 volumes of Searcy Co cemetery records. Folks who have these volumes are very willing to do lookups for researchers. All you have to do is ask the Searcy Co email list ARSEARCY-L@rootsweb.com for a lookup, naming the cemetery if possible, and giving the names of those for which you're searching. Please be thoughtful, though, and don't give your whole family tree at once - one or two at a time works best. These won't be official county records because there are none. The information has been taken from the actual cemeteries and the actual grave stones. But in some counties, in some states, that info was kept at the county level before the state was required to do so. Is there any chance that Searcy County would have any info on deaths around 1907? > Chris
