At last the October issue of the "Searcy County Ancestor Information Exchange" is in the mail. Sorry for the delay. It contains: the Social Schedules for the 1850, 1860 & 1870 censuses as well as an 1868 questionnaire that has basically the same information. Also included: Dr. Sam Daniel's Account book for 1925-1928; Pension/Service/ Bounty Abstracts for Gary through Henley from my files; information about the "Peach Orchard" or "Harps' Massacre" (Newton Co. stuff); Will Rice articles on the Cave Creek (again Newton Co.) Christmas Tree, and about Luther Arnold; an article about Still Spring Community west of Marshall, and an article by Benson Fox about "Dipping Vats (for cattle)" JJJ
