Arkansas. It was said that Jess married 3 or 4 times, But neither mom nor Dad knew of any children he had although there was 5 step-children by the one he was married to in the late 1930"s.Ask Gladys. She remembers most of this stuff first hand . She was there. John was the father of Hursel Grimes who died in Greene co ark. I have Hursel"s death certificate. John Grimes died when Hursel was young. Elizabeth Hancock grimes raised Hursel. I think I still have John"s marriage certificate also. Do you have anything else on Charles? I haven't been able to learn much about him. I think he served WW1.
