I have been given information that tells that William is the son of Nathaniel Horton and Malinda Atkinson. Nathaniel was the son of Isaac British Horton and Hannah Ferris. Your gg grandfather was related---step brother---to my g-g-grandfather, Levi Wesley aka Louis Wesley, Morgan Wesley, Louis Morgan, Henry Morgan and Levi R. Wesley. (WHO KNOWS WHAT HIS REAL NAME WAS!!). I do have some information and there is all kinds of information on the internet. My grandfather, everett horton, remembers an uncle pink (mordecai pinckney) He never new why they called him uncle pink, but he remembered the name.
