Re the postings about Hickman County TN. That was one of the very commmon stopping places for families who ended up in the Searcy, Marion, Izard ect county area. Most of them left there for other location ins TN and then on to AR. If you go to the Hickman County web page they have the 1820/1830/1840 census index on line. Happy hunting Judy
