"The Mountain Wave" March 27, 1893, 2:4. and "The funeral services of uncle Isaac Shipman will be attended to at Flat Rock church on the fourth Sunday in the month at 11 o'clock by A. R. Stephenson and C. P. Colbert. Let all relatives and friends of the deceased attend." "The Mountain Wave" October 5, 1893, 2:3. I don't know why the funeral service was so long after his death. JJJ
