No, I have no idea if they are related or not. I have only found James and family on the 1910, 1920 & 1930 census. Haven't found him earlier. I have Elizabeth Ann, daughter of William Holmes, married Christopher Denton. I know they all married each other and your James would be a part of this same family, moving from Tennessee to Arkansas, I'm trying to piece them altogether into their right family groups. William Holmes born about 1823 in Tennessee, married Elizabeth. They are listed in the 1850 census, along with his brothers and parents. William Holmes had a daughter, Mary, who was born about 1850. She married Jesse Calvin (Calloway) Hill sometime around 1867. Is anyone else researching this line? Other siblings to William are: Benjamin, Jacob, Abram, George W., Elizabeth Ann, Welcome, Absolom, and Melina. I know most, if not all, of these siblings were in Searcy Co. in 1850 as well. I've just begun researching this line and would love any input I can get from other Holmes researchers. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Does anyone have any information on Andrew Moore whis is listed in Calf Creek Searcy County 1960 census as born in GA about 1933. Listed with him is wife Sarah, children William, Lucinda, Mary. Also in the household is Abijah Morris age 11. I believe he may be a brother to Mulhulda Moore who married William Franklin Scott. He is on the same census page as Mulhulda, they are close in age and both born GA. Any help or suggestions much appreciated.
