Beth, her is some data on one of William Shipman's other children. Some people have his last two children Henry and Hanna listed a Martha's, but I do not think this is accurate, one because of folk lore tale of (John and brothers George and Henry coming to AR and Henry going on to MO) and the book "Marion Co., AR Families 1811-1900 has all the children as Anna's, also if Anna lived for any length of time after the 1850 Hamilton Co., TN census she would have been at least Henry's mother who is age 10 in the 1860 census, or maybe she died just after the census was taken in 1849, but does anyone have any proof or family documentation other than Martha being on the 1860 census with him. Would be interested if anyone knows when Anna died. Everyone speak up now or forever hold your piece. Betty Phildary Burnes is the daughter of Thomas S. Burnes and Elizabeth Holtzclaw Burnes, her given name is Elizabeth, they lived in Searcy Co., AR and Marion Co., AR. I'm not sure of her birthdate, but she's listed in "Genealogies of Marion County Families 1811-1900:" "ELIZABETH "Betty" BURNES b. AR d. aged 22 m. aged 15 JOHN LEWIS (son of Daniel and Mary (Norris) Lewis.)" I find it very interesting that Betty's middle name is Phildary, we have several women in the Burnes line named after Fildera (Dowden) Hardy, she would be the grandmother of your Elizabeth!! I'm a descendant of Julia Ann Burnes, sister to your Elizabeth. I would love to share info with you!! I'm in contact with many other descendants and we have a web site on MyFamily.com that I would like to invite you to join. Hope to talk to you soon, cuz! Barb Price
