She must have died because in the 1870 Searcy Co census Nancy has married Wm Ezell and her brother and sisters are living with her, being 15, 12, and 9 in age. Nancy and Wm Ezell had four children, Martha Ann, John Henry, Sarah Cordeely and Zora. Nancy and Wm died in 1880 and the children were divided among the uncle and aunts. 2. Lina Boyd
    3. Posted on: Searcy County, Ar Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ar/Searcy/11618 Surname: ------------------------- There are only two cemeteries in Searcy County that have markers for the name Love in them. My husband, C. L. Boyd, helped Mrs. Ruby Lacy copy these cemeteries and print them before Mrs. Lacy died. There are two Loves buried in Hensley Farm Cemetery. This cemetery is located on the St. Joe side of the Buffalo River in the Pine Bluff area. It is very grown up. C. L. was told not to drive off the top of the bluff to this one because you couldn't get back out. So he walked in to it. Directions: About 4 1/2 miles SW of St. Joe. Take Highway 374 to Searcy County Road #14. Follow #14 to end of pavement and take left Y. Go under bluff over Buffalo River to old Hensley farm. Stockpond on right; cemetery in woods behind pond; hard to find; road bad. Copied in 1995 Harry Love born 13 Jul 1895 - 01 Jan 1897 Love, ____ 20 Dec 1898 - 13 Sep 1899 son of William Cullen Love and C. Emma Hensley. The other cemetery is Love Cemetery located close to the town of St. Joe. >From Junction of Highways 65 and 374 in St. Joe, go southwest on 374 for/ .8 mile to Searcy Co. Road #14. Go .2 mile to Searcy Co. Road #18. Then/ .9 mile and turn left through pasture for .2 mile. Buried here are Albert L. 1897, Angeline 1850, Billy Gene 1950, Edna 1904, Hannibal 1849, infant of J. Cash Love, Jas. H. 1817, Karl 1910, Laura 1882, Logan 1902, Maudie C. 1905, Mosco William 1900, Nina 1904, Rose L. 1885, W. C. 1869 and Yvonne 1923. These are birthyears. Will this help you? None of them are really in the Calf Creek or Snowball area of Searcy Co. Lina Boyd, Dover, AR

    2. marinda holliman
    3. Hello Shirley, Here are the Dirrections TO THE SULPHUR SPRINGS CEMETERY (FROM LESLIE TO MARSHALL). 1. Travel north on HWY 65 toward Marshall from Leslie,Arkansas. 2. Pass the Cove Creek an the big bend where Simpkins Farm is. 3. When you are nearing the end of the long lane there is a large garage and house in back you will see as you approach the little road you will need to slow down to turn into. This big building has a sign that says "Williams Welding Shop" .There is another sign that reads "Drunk Drivers Kill". 4. Right before you get to this garage is a county road that turns to to the right ( east) . This will be COUNTY ROAD 103. 5. Travel on this little dirt road and across a flat bottom bridge about 3/10 miles to a FOUR WAY STOP. 6. Turn right at the four way stop. 7. Travel down this road about 3/10 miles and you will see a big metal sign that says "Sulphur Springs Cemetary" on the left. There will be a black mail box on the right of the sign. 8. Turn Left by the sign and stop for the large chain across the road. 9. I don't beleive that it is locked, but in case it is, the walk up the little hill is about 1/10 mile to the Sulphur Springs Cemetery . Marinda Ps. OR you can: Turn into Leslie off HWY 65 , cross the bridge and go down town Lelsie and turn left on Main Street and go 1.5 miles and turn left on a little dirt road. Cross little muddy yellow wet branch . Cross second branch with a rock bed. At 1.7 miles there will be a black mail box on left and across from it on the right will be the Sulphur Springs Cemetery sign. Turn right and stop for the chain across the road. go up the hill to cemetery. Have fun! :] By the way I have a question about the HORN CEMETERY???? .... just about directly across the road from the Welding Building there on HWY 65 is another cemetery. The HORN CEMETERY. There is NO sign for it and the field has a gate that has a chain that is locked. I would like to know If Dewayne Treat had to get the Key and permission when he took Rick and I up there when he put a head stone up for Robert Ragland??? We tried to go up and look around and it was locked. Thanks. 1. [ARSEARCY] Baker, Green Berry
    2. James Johnston
    3. There is a tombstone in the Marshall Cemetery that says: Green Berry Baker b. Jan 1873 d. 1934. (Or at least that is what the cemetery book transcription says.) Green Berry was married to Maggie E. Colbert 15 Oct 1896 in Searcy Co. and the marriage is recorded in Searcy county Marriage Book E, p. 95. Also in the Cemetery book is the comment that Green Berry was the son of Jasper Newton Baker and Lucy Jane Greenhaw. Jasper Newton Baker is buried in the Marshall Cemetery and his info is: Jasper Newton Baker b. 22 Jan 1849 in Searcy Co.; d. 5 Nov 1940 in Searcy Co. He was the son of Zebediah Baker and Hannah Grinder And he married Lucy Jane Greenhaw about 1871. If you want more info on this family please let me know. Also Maggie Colbert's parents were probably Charles P. & [?] Colbert. He is next door to Green Berry Baker & Maggie in the 1900 Searcy Co. Census. Charles P. was b. Nov. 1853 in GA. (Maggie was b. in MO.) Colbert was a preacher and moved about some. He was also a newspaper man in Marshall for a while. JJJ
